Handy Hypnosis Review

Hypnosis can be used to overcome bad habits and enhance the personality. In fact, hypnosis is real and proves to be beneficial for treatment of psychological problems. Note these important points about Hypnosis…:

Self-Hypnosis


Expectations regarding results and aim for practicing hypnosis on your own should be clear in your mind before you begin the practice. Self-Hypnosis is used to modify or improve mental and physical shortcomings. And only a person who is truly determined to do this can succeed with it. Positive repetitious suggestions when presented to subconscious mind makes the mind more open to them only if conscious mind is relaxed.


Before beginning a self-hypnosis session, you need to be prepared with notes of suggestions that you intend to present to your mind and you have to learn them by heart. It is advisable to choose specific times and intended durations for each day for practicing self-hypnosis techniques. Plus a place should be chosen where you are not disturbed by any noise and / or try to mask unwanted noises. Relaxation music can be used to do so.


After completing your initial preparations, you can make yourself comfortable with whatever position you feel best. Then close your eyes and start breathing. Hold each breath for a moment before releasing it. Make yourself feel that you are getting relieved from all the stress, tensions and worries. Once breathing becomes slow, more smooth and regular; start relaxation of your entire body from your feet and progressively towards way up. Body parts that are affected by more stresses and tensions should be given progressive relaxation for plenty of time. Remember, you are not sleeping but just relaxing into a trance state.


Once you feel deeply relaxed, start presentation of your suggestions to your subconscious mind. Think about those suggestions in your mind or should be spoken loudly and clearly. During each session only single, specific area should be improved at a time. Suggestions should be in simple words and repeated again and again.


After completing the process of presenting your suggestions, re-emerge from trance. The procedure for termination of trance should be opposite version of induction procedure, including self-instructions for awakening from your trance feeling motivated and refreshed.


 The most refreshing thing that can be done for your body is the state of trance. Trances are of variable types. A short duration and medium depth trance equals to normal sleep. Light trance means closer to the waking state and deep trance means closer to the sleeping state. The subconscious mind learns best by positive repetition when the conscious mind is relaxed.
